We continue the work on dismantling the second building in Kharkiv on 1 Metrostroynik Street. Our company’s specialists began this work on September 9 of this year.

    Emergency buildings require dismantling due to extensive damage and the danger they pose to the environment. In this building, the entire entrance from the 9th to the 1st floor has been completely destroyed, the structures are partially damaged due to thermal exposure. The dismantling of this building is also being carried out by a hydraulic excavator Caterpillar 345 DEM 70 and equipped with a CAT 324 multiprocessor. We perform the work quickly and efficiently,” emphasized Production Director Vladislav Fitsko. Our company has a professional staff of employees who perform such work in compliance with the current norms and requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on demolition.

    On September 20, the primary and secondary demolition of two buildings was completed, for which a DOOSAN 340 excavator was additionally involved. The building is 60 m by 12 m and 9 floors high. It is planned to remove approximately 16 thousand tons of construction waste from the two destroyed buildings.

   Work is currently underway to remove and dispose of construction waste using FORD dump trucks from another subcontractor. Disposal of waste after the demolition of dilapidated buildings is an important part of the process, so UNDP, in accordance with the terms of the project, has separately built a site for the processing of this waste 20 km from the site.
