Since August, the CAT 330 excavator has been operating at the Medukhiv gypsum deposit in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The technical task at this site was to use an excavator with a hydraulic hammer.

The technical characteristics of this excavator are as follows: weight 30 tons, engine power 195 kW, equipped with a full set of hydraulic lines for working with any attachments, including full-rotary attachments. The experience of the mechanic Mykhailo Galiuk and the excavator operator Sergey Bondarev allowed the excavator to be re-equipped for the operation of a hydraulic hammer. The excavator’s work consists in crushing large gypsum rocks into a 40/60 fraction for subsequent loading onto SCANIA dump trucks for further processing.

Currently, the excavator’s work continues. During this time, our SCANIA dump trucks have transported more than 33 thousand tons of raw materials. Thanks to the professionalism of our employees, we manage to crush and transport the volume of products according to the volumes and within the deadlines set by the customer.
