The ASTRON GROUP and ASTRON TRADE HAUSE trademarks are now the property of ASTRON. It should be noted that trademark registration in Ukraine is a long and difficult process, but the specialists of the rental and advertising department of the ASTRON GROUP Association coped with the task perfectly.

A trademark is a registered verbal designation that can consist of a word or words, a proper name, letters and numbers. It is also often called a trademark or a sign for goods and services.

The organization that registers a trademark is called Ukrpatent. There are several reasons for registering a trademark. First, the presence of a trademark is a prerequisite for registering a domain in the .ua zone. Second, trademark registration allows you to protect goods or services from competitors. If your product is unique, you can get a monopoly on the market. And thirdly, when orienting your business to the whole world, registering a trademark in Ukraine is the first stage on the way to registering an international trademark,” says Kateryna Grigorenko, head of the rental and advertising department.

The work was really extensive – you had to fill out a special questionnaire, indicate the classes of activity, add an image of the trademark with the CMYK color profile. After that, the registration agency begins a search for trademarks for similarity and identity, after which, based on the search results, it sends a report, and then draws up, agrees with the applicant, draws up and submits an application for registration of a mark for goods and services in Ukraine.

And then you have to wait. And this is probably the most difficult part. Standard trademark registration can take about 18 months. But the main thing is the result!
