And these are not just words. Every minute of downtime is a great economic loss for the enterprise. Therefore, it is very important to maintain all equipment in working condition. Our equipment undergoes timely technical inspection, which is planned in advance, but mechanics also carefully monitor it daily, conducting preventive inspections, as well as lubrication of components and units, which prevent possible defects at the early stages.

We are increasing the number of equipment that removes slag, but when loading, excavators cannot keep up with such a number of dump trucks. That is why our enterprise thought about purchasing excavators and loaders.

Our goal is to make the work cyclical, so that our equipment loads our dump trucks, which would be constantly involved and not wait for their turn to load. There were many proposals, but we settled on special equipment DOOSAN and its official representative in Ukraine, Caterpillar. The following indicators were taken into account: price, performance, availability of a service center, warranty and post-warranty service conditions.

The first 2 DOOSAN loaders and a Caterpillar excavator with gooseneck operation are already operating at the Ilyich Metallurgical Plant.
