The work on strengthening and construction of the Kremenchuk Reservoir continues. In mid-February, we added a DOOSAN DX 340 excavator to the dam construction work.

We started building a protective dam on the reservoir in 2011. Then, 200 m of protective dam were built to protect the coast, and in 2020, another 300 m. Construction is still ongoing. Strengthening the shore of the Kremenchuk Reservoir began in the Mozoliivka area. There, the destruction of the shore threatens private houses and lands of villagers. The distance from the cliff to some buildings is less than 150 m. Therefore, carrying out such work is very important. Now we are not only transporting stone, but also taking part in the construction of the Kremenchuk Reservoir.

Excavator operator Oleksandr Myysarosh, who is involved in these works, shared his impressions with us: “I understand what an important role the Kremenchuk Reservoir plays in people’s lives. It is a source of drinking water for three regions! And I am very pleased, I am proud that I have the opportunity to join such a great cause.”
