In December 2024, the acting director of the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of LLC “MAKON LTD” Yuriy Fedorenko and the company’s mechanic Petro Savchuk visited the Kamianets-Podilskyi cement plant. This plant is part of the CEMARK group of companies, which unites Mykolaivcement, Kamianets-Podilskyi and Odessa plants and is part of the CRH group – the leading manufacturer of building materials in the world.

The purpose of this working trip was to meet and get acquainted with representatives of the plant, determine the estimated volumes of products to be exported, the conditions for the operation of its own rolling stock, working conditions for the company’s workers, working conditions in the quarry itself, the state of labor protection and many other work issues.

After a thorough briefing on safety, representatives of the ASTRON GROUP Association went to the quarry. “We carefully studied the features of the work, held negotiations with the engineering and technical staff on the direction of work. “We received objective information and an idea of ​​possible cooperation. We agreed with the representatives of the plant on another meeting at the level of the heads of our enterprises,” Yuriy Fedorenko, acting director of the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of MAKON LTD, summed up the results of the working trip.
